Ok hi again guys. I said I would so I have. I know there are a lot of new guys to the Fan Fiction board who will continue, I am sure, to right their wonderful stories. And I intend mine to carry on but the first part was posted ages ago so you probably won't have seen it. Anyway this is quite a lot of work here and quite a lot to read. Comments question etc. are welcome. There is the odd rude word here and there. And some stuff that might offend some of you, Remember you've been warned.

Anyway I present to you:
Exploits of Fang: the Vault 13 Incident in it's entirety

PT1
It was night, a tribal woman stumbled through the barren wasteland, she was almost out of food and drink, she was almost done for. She stumbled slowly glancing at her pip boy as she moved. Her power armour glistened even in the late evening it was. She looked down again and watched the small dot that represented her move slowly south. She had no protection and was no doubt likely to encounter some raiders or just as cruel beings like mutants or deathclaws before she could make it to the vault. Her friend were waiting there, Marcus Goris and lenny, they would have some water, and she could find herself a nice cooked meal somewhere in vault storage. She almost missed the intelligent deathclaws that lived there. She suspected that Frank hadn't really killed them. Even a super being like that couldn't do such a thing. But this was only her thought, she probably would never know the real truth. She hoped she would get there quickly,

And some strange how she just managed it, Several days maybe weeks later she stumbled into vault 13. Her friends were here and had been waiting longer than and eternity for her return. She had wanted a private trip to Reno to clear up a few little things.

She looked up at the great vault door with it's 13 neatly carved into it, she remembered her first trip to this place. She also imagined the vault dweller her ancestor who wore the vault suit before her leaving on his trip to find the water chip all those years ago. However she wanted to make a hasty departure and get on with her journey. She entered an access code into the computer and the door swung slowly and heavily open. She rushed inside and pressed the button to open the next door. On the other side Lenny was waiting.
"He hello ch' chosen one," he greeted as she entered
"It's about time," Came Marcus's voice as he emerged from the elevator.
"It is good to see you again chosen," came the voice of the deathclaw Goris.
"Hello party," the chosen replied, "Good to see you again people"

She looked up and saw that her friends had made a few upgrades while she was gone, across the hall from her was a motion sensor facing directly at the entrance. A cable linked it to the nearby entrance computer. From there on it was transmitted all over the upgraded network. She walked over to the console "Nice," she whispered as she looked at the status of the new network, she went slowly over the list of upgrades.
"So," she whispered "You've installed a transmitter on level two huh," She looked back down again "And another outside the vault" She paused again and looked down "Concealed I hope?" she asked.
"Of course," replied a fourth voice, She looked over in the direction of the med-lab. It was Cassidy dressed in a dirty over all with a large metallic tool over his right shoulder leaning down to his weak heart. He held it with his left hand and was armed with his own customised sawed-off shotgun which he was especially proud of

"Cassidy," cried young Jedziea, the chosen one. She was surprised as much as she was pleased to see him. "What happened to you?" She asked him

"I survived," he replied. Jedziea and the group had taken him up for dead at vault 15. "I thought the same of you," Cassidy said "I thought I might as well save your tribe if you didn't. I found the location of this place in the other vault and headed here," Cassidy finished

"What about the others?" Jedziea questioned
"You mean Sulik and K-9?" Cassidy stated the (probably) obvious "As far as I know there still in san Fran. I ain't seen 'em in ages. They might have given us up for lost and gone back to Klamath or wherever they intended to go. I've been here fixing up some upgrades to our new base of operations." Cassidy drew a small object from his belt. It looked slightly like a stealth boy but it had a fairly large screen and a small transmission-receiving device. "This is how we all knew you were he so quick other than Lenny being on guard, See we've rigged up a lot of the vault with motion sensors Geiger counters and the lot. We've even rigged an inventory console in the storage rooms. And those BOS stealth boys on al the lockers to make them invisible if we're attacked. All the networked computers have maps of everything, we can see whose where in the base. We kinda got bored…very very bored."

"Well it's good to see you made use of the time,"
"So who was your time, what do ya do in Reno may we ask?" Questioned Goris
"Yeah anything we should know about," Said Marcus.
"I was clearing up a deal with little Jesus Mordino. He sexually harassed me on my last visit,"
"SO…" Questioned Cassidy
"So I let him take out his urges on me,"
"Then…" Cassidy continued to inquire
"I killed him"
"Anything else?" Marcus asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know." She ended the conversation there. "So will one of you handsome chaps get me some water?" She asked.
"Very well chosen," Goris joked as he stumbled over to the elevator leading down to storage.
Goris returned several minutes later with some water and nuka-cola. Jedziea took them and finished the water in one sweeping motion. "Let's go see if the others are still where I left them. I heard Sulik quite liked that martial arts guy Dragon.
"I think K-9 did too" Added Goris as they began to leave
"Ahh I almost forgot" Said Cassidy again retrieving the device apparently all the group had been given, He handed a spare to Jedziea and then put his own and pointed it at the vault. "Shut down sequence number 13." He said, the last words drained out by a faint humming of the systems shutting down.
The group turned and walked out towards where they had parked the car.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Approach," the lead raider said he motioned forward with one hand and begin to slide slowly in the direction he was pointing. He had an SMG in the other hand and his green combat armour protected him from a lot of battle damage. The group followed him forward leading them through the cave entrance to vault 13. Soon they moved and ambushed the group exiting the vault.

Cassidy was busy with the computer locking the vault door and it was his and only his vault boy that was contacted. He took the device from around his waist and checked what the motion sensor had seen. When he realised how many raiders were stumbling into the cave he ran. He ran to another upgrade he'd made to the vault, a side entrance. Through this he was able to re-enter the vault without bothering to open the huge vault main-entrance door.

Meanwhile the rest of the group was approaching the stealthy threat completely unaware of the danger. The raiders were able to silently emerge from the shadows and kidnap the group.

"What err wh-what's th-that," Said Lenny as he heard a gun loaded right behind his head.
"Take us into the vault," Demanded a raider who was concealed in the green combat armour.

Yet they were all unaware of who else was watching this strange business. The concealed stranger who was also present drew closer to the main vault door. He slipped again into the shadows while the chosen one was forced to open the door. As they went in this presence also followed them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Here you can stay in here," the raider pushed the four into a small room, it was small compared to some other vault living quarters but it was large compared to the rooms the people of the wasteland stay in. There was a door down on the wall to the right of the party entering. There were two beds in this room as well as a shower, two lockers, a bookshelf, two desks and a toilet. Marcus moved over to the door from where he had been pushed. He tried it but it'd already been locked
"Damn it," He whispered to himself
Jedziea instinctively moved over to the other door and tried that, it led into a room exactly the same as the one they were currently in.
"Lenny," Marcus shouted over to him

Lenny nodded and moved through as quickly as he could to try the exit door in the other room but it was locked too.
"It's locked," He shouted back.

They were trapped.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cassidy dropped from his perch in the air vents. He had removed a loose tile above the high-tech storage room. "Good," he thought as he dropped down and landed silently.
"This can be our base of operations until we can get rid of the raiders," He thought. "Now if only I'd paid more attention in mechanic school… it looks like we need to get a door here," he said, he was referring to where the deathclaws had made the cave. He was thinking to himself when he heard a footstep, it was growing ever closer. He heard a weapon being loaded and raised. It was right out side. He could feel it on the ground. He prepared to make a jump with his rifle in hand. The footstep drew even closer WHEN…

PT 2

"Vic you son of a Bitch," Cassidy remarked
"Nice to see you again Cassidy,"
"You have a way with mechanics don't you?" Cassidy asked.
"Well sort," Vic replied
"Do you fancy making this into a door for me?" Cassidy pointed at the space that linked into the cave beyond.

Vic loosened his small rucksack that was strewn across the back of his combat armour. He pulled out some rather large cutting tools. He reached for a locker and climbed upon it. He focused the tools above him and began to cut a hole for the door to go to when open. Meanwhile Cassidy searched the lockers to find something that might fit into place to make it look like a wall whilst also keeping a keen watchful eye on the door.
"Here we are," He whispered to himself as he found a crate containing "Repairable wall tiles," He began to lift some out of place and stick them together.

"So Vic do you know what's going on around here?" Cassidy asked.
"I think the raiders who captured the place are up in their living quarters drinking." Vic replied.
"Why did you come back down here?" Cassidy continued to inquire.
"I'm not stupid you know,"
"I wasn't implying you were."
"Well actually I laid a detector here. It was an old holographic thing. I was able to see what was happening from San Fran. As soon as it became clear Cala would be coming back here I headed off. Sulik decided to stay back there."
"So you let him, Why. Come on this makes no sense"
"Hey just trust me god dammit." Demanded Vic.
"Yeah just get on with the job," Cassidy remarked.

Vic resumed the cutting and he was nearly finished. He soon finished and climbed down. He began to assemble some type of mechanism to work the door he had just cut. It took him a while but he managed to get it working. It took them many hours but they managed it. They carried the lockers to appropriate places in their new head quarters. Vic pulled a couple of bedrolls from his pack and rolled them on the floor. He had installed a key card locking system on the door. It was concealed quite nicely on the opposite side. He could remove a tile to find the slot. He was able to salvage some gear from around the vault. The raiders who now controlled the vault were not too interested in the systems of the vault at the present time. They were expecting some technical workers to come in and evaluate the potential value but that was a few days away. Vic and Cassidy did not know this but it was time for them to recapture the vault AND uncover the traitors that must be working with them. The door locked smoothly and the two enjoyed a pleasant night of sleep.

So did the prisoners in the level above except their night was ruined by worry and fear. They had no clue that Vic and Cassidy were down beneath them right then sleeping in the rocky cave.

The raiders indeed were drinking until they dropped. Most of them had. That was what gave the two so much time and also made the raiders a careless bunch of idiots.

"What's the time?" Vic asked as he woke lazily
"Time to get up," Replied Cassidy energetically jumping to his feet shotgun at the ready.
"Do we have to?" Vic asked
"Yes we do," Cassidy checked his Vault device and reviewed the positions of the raiders. "Dammit" he whispered "Still jammed,"
"Yes Boss," Vic said pulling himself up and putting on his combat armour. "So what's the plan?" Vic asked
"So Cala," Whispered Goris who was shearing the same room as her. "What do we do?" he asked
"I don't know, I-I-I haven't ever felt this helpless before," She whispered back.

At that moment a raider entered the room and picked Jedziea up by the arm of her power armour and dragged her out. She was taken down to level 3 and out into the first room where there was a group of raiders seated on chairs with weapons on their laps. Jedziea was dragged kicking and creaming over to a central platform. Her weapons were pulled from her hands and as was the main attraction her power armour removed from her body. This was where she educed the worst part of her torture. The raiders forced themselves upon her. It wouldn't have been so bad for her if they didn't all smell of cigarettes. She was publicly humiliated not the raiders could tell anyone or even think about it when she was done with them. You can only imagine the pain of being constantly raped. She would probably have been more pleased as the beatings the rest of the group would probably have. They gave her a small funny looking out fit which they immediately made her get on. It didn't leave much to the imagination. She was told she could wear this or nothing as she was shoved completely unarmed back into her cell. Next they pulled Goris out. He had not many possessions to be stripped of but he received a savage beating. After this all of them were pulled out in turn with all their possessions taken and then they were tortured.

Cassidy and Vic decided that they could only risk leaving if they had stealth boys so they retrieved what they could and emerged from there hideout each with a card for re-entry. They went to a set of lockers that they hadn't seen the other day when they did a search of level three. Cassidy picked the lock of the first one and looked inside. The first object he found were Jedziea's bracelets. The ones he had given her for her last birthday. He continued to search the inventory of the locker.
"This is all her stuff," he declared as he looked through the collection of armour and weaponry. "Strange what some people keep on them isn't it," He stated as he removed a bag. He had found a strange collection of items after searching through it. There was a collection of condoms and necklaces and cosmetics cases. There was even a large amount of plant spikes that spore plants launched. "We might as well take this back to base," he whispered as he picked some of it out.
"Good idea," Vic agreed as he began to help his friend. When they finally had hold of all of the items, and junk in the locker they headed back to their temporary base. "I wonder what was in those other lockers?" Vic wondered aloud.
"Probably the rest of the groups gear too," Cassidy replied
Vic was startled at Cassidy's voice. It was Cassidy's usual voice but he wasn't aware that he was wondering out load. He hadn't been in a situation like this for a long time. His life had started to become dull after he had been left behind in San Fransisco for a while. He was prepped for adventure when he was recruited and rescued but that was thanks to being in the slaver's guild for ages. It was boring still it was exciting. He had gone back to just being a person. He was no longer Vic, the guy with the gauss rifle that loved to rip the hell out of slavers. He was just another citizen in a very crowded wasteland town. Now it was all beginning to come back to him. He dumped the stuff on the floor and left to go and have a longer look round the vault. Still under the protection of a stealth boy however.

"Hey where's all that gal's gear?" Asked one particularly dum raider
"What do you mean?" Said the raider who had placed it there looking in surprise to see it missing.
"Well it looks like we have intruders," said a third
A group assembled around the locker. Cassidy and Vic were approaching ready to take some of the other gear back. This was when they realised how stupid they'd been. The raiders wouldn't know the other gear was missing but THIS. They put it there so they could figure out it was gone, and they had. The raiders had their weapons ready and started patrolling slowly round the vault.

The presence crawled in, its eyes were focused on the raider unaware of him. He crept closer still shadowed somehow. The raider looked down as the thing emitted a deafening noise. The raider could only see a brief shadow. The shadow leapt forward with inhuman agility. It struck at the raider's legs crippling them and bringing them to the ground. The shadowed figure rose silently and a faint humming and then a click could be heard. Then the raider was no more, there was no trace of his body or his existence.

Cassidy stumbled, he hadn't been so scared in his life. There was a large group of raiders in front of him. Heavily armed and vicious. His weapon was puny and small but still at lest slightly deadly. Then he made the decision, to attack. He raised his weapon.
"No," said Vic stupidly alerting the raiders. They turned and looked towards where Vic and Cassidy stood. They could see shadows. The fairly intelligent leader immediately knew what the situation was and ordered their group to fire. A stream of fire went through the air as both Vic and bullets constantly bombarded Cassidy. Their combat armour soaked up most of the damage. But just one blow ruined everything. A small grenade was released along with the many others the soldiers were throwing but this one. This one was plasma, it overloaded their stealth boys and they feel to the ground uncloaked and helpless. The riders dragged them up to where another uncomfortable group were sitting planning. Vic was tossed in first followed closely by Cassidy with their equipment still on them. The raiders intended to get to business. Before any other dangers showed up. This was impossible however.
"Vic Cassidy," Called Jedziea as they were thrown in. However the door would not close. It stayed open despite the raiders pressing one hell of a lot of buttons. Then the furthest back raider was hit. Then another. Then a minigun and a plasma rifle thrown into the prison cell. Jedziea jumped at the sudden but unexplainable chance at hand. She raised the rifle and Marcus took the minigun. They released a spray of bullets at the raiders. This was when what saved them revealed itself. A hum came as a device clicked off. What stood before the group by the level elevator surprised them extremely?

PT3
In front of them was a power-armoured figure. It wore no helmet but still looked advanced. It had some sort of a pistol in one had and had a minigun strapped to the other arm. It looked like a ferocious monster and the entire group felt like screaming. But still this "Monster" Had just saved their lives, they should at least be thankful to it for that

"Hah," It exclaimed "I see the look of fear in your eyes. It is with that fear that you were rescued." He declared. The group of course knew that this was true. "So you need another travelling companion?" He asked Jedziea.
"Ahm sure," She said surprised at herself
"Where we headed then?" he asked.
"San Fran," Replied the still scarred Jedziea.

The rest of the group was a bit calmer now as they realised their saviour was with the Brotherhood. The figure had a bloodthirsty look on his face. It suddenly faded and he looked normal despite the fact that he was wearing power armour. He moved over to the elevator. He gestured with his hand for them to approach him. As they did he triggered the elevator to move downwards. Then again without speaking he moved over to a door and opened this. He gestured them in and then opened a locker. He went through the rest of the group's gear handing it to them slowly. He then stealthily ran to the next storage room. The group then wondered how long this presence had been lurking here in observation of every move. They thought perhaps that he had been here even when Jedziea was north in New Reno. They were wrong however as he had entered when they were captured. It wasn't his first visit but he was aware he had visitors in what he had taken to be his home. Goris seemed easier with him emotionally than the rest although if he did have any emotions at all he rarely and barely showed them. He displayed no fear or hatred now but instead friendship as if he knew and admired the power-armoured man.

"So Goris still hung around then, loyal to this girl now are you?" He asked Goris.
"I am indeed Fang," Replied Goris. The two were now ahead and almost isolated from the rest.
"Still like this place then?" Fang continued to ask.
"Yes I do LIKE it here but it reminds me of what happened still."
"Ohh yeah, that reminds me." Fang said
"What?" Asked the deathclaw.
"I took that video clip of your leader dying." Fang began to tell
"AND?" Goris questioned
"And I studied it in my base." Fang continued.
"What did you find?" Asked Goris.
"Well when I ran an advanced scan I found your leader was still alive."
"What do you mean!" Shouted Goris

The rest of the group ran up to them.
"What is it Goris?" Jedziea asked.
"Do you really mean it?" Goris asked Fang
"Mean what?" Jedziea questioned "Do you know each other?"
"Yes we do indeed." Goris said to her "He is my friend, he used to live here. Or at least temporarily. He left a lot and went places but…"
"Goris this is important." Fang told him "he was dumped in the waste land, he lives in a cave. Some of the others were still alive too. They hid. The mother is still alive and they have a large and prosperous new tribe."
"You seem awfully positive on your theory, have you any evidence to back it up?"
"I've been there I've seen him." Fang told Goris.
"REALLY?" Goris asked

Fang nodded and continued to walk on. He came to where Vic and Cassidy's secret base was. He removed the tile from the wall and he took a key card from a pocket. He ran this through the reader and the door opened.
"How-how is this possible? " Vic asked, "It was completely safeguarded."
"Relax," Said Fang "It's a skeleton Card," He raised it displaying a picture of a human skeleton. "It opens any door locked like this."
Fang went through and proceeded to open the unlocked lockers. He handed Jedziea her gear which was in the locker. He also took out some of Vic's. Cassidy had his on him.
Jedziea left the Vault eager to get on to San Fran where the rest of her friends waited. They went on at a startling pace which only Fang could keep up with.
"So you like running?" She asked Fang.
A smile came across his face as he looked down at her. She was an average height but Fang was larger than she was.
"I guess you could say that." He replied
"Will you two please slow down." Asked Vic who was weakly panting along behind them. They could also see that Lenny has having trouble but he didn't want to complain.
"Unless you want some privacy, and even then you could hire a room or something. Or whatever the hell just quit running. Some of us aren't as fit as the two of you."

Jedziea slowed down, Fang remained at her side.
"Chosen, if I may ask a favour," said Goris.
"Yes go ahead." Jedziea replied
"Did you hear what Fang said?" He asked her
"About what.?" She asked.
"About the deathclaws."
"Ohh that," She replied "Yeah he started."
"Well I would like us to go and visit the new deathclaw tribe."
"Do you mean you want to leave us, if so it's been nice having you with us and we hope we can see you again."
"No that is not what I had in mind chosen." Goris said.
"Well what did you have in mind?"
"I would like our whole group to visit."
"Very…" She was cut short as a stream of blasts came up behind them
"I thought we destroyed all the raiders," Jedziea said to Fang
"This is the same clan just a different band," Fang replied "Probably seeking revenge."

The raiders approached with all their weapons blazing. Fang drew his Vindicator at let that release all its stream of powerful bullets on them. Fang stood next to Marcus and they let their burst of fire combine. Jedziea joined them with her weapon going also on burst. Goris decided he would stay out of this fight, as there was no room for close combat. The group soon lost their advantage over the raiders as their miniguns began to run out of ammo. Jedziea advanced with only a pistol in hand. She then realised that this was the same group of raiders that were in the vault, the same that had raped her. She was not sad at this just very very angry. She aimed her weapon at ones head. The raiders were launching gauss rifle bullets at her. But even this could not stop her anger. She shot at the leader. The single bullet hit his nose and almost instantly his face turned red with blood. From behind Fang shot with some sort of weapon. The device had a large circular and long barrel. A handle protruded from its side and a strap was attached to Fang's back so as to support the weapon. Fang had his other hand on another handle sticking out of the bottom. This handle apparently held the trigger, the other being used for weapon settings. He focused the weapon on one raider. He turned it on and a stream of blue and white fire leaked out. It was incredibly burning and Fang turned his head as the flame was launched. The raider's screams could be heard for miles as the weapon which apparently had the hottest flame I the world burnt through his skin and armour. He ran the fire was tailing him and he was burning still. The worst part of the weapon looked like it didn't make you die instantly and instead made you stand and suffer.

Jedziea looked at Fang and his weapon then across at the still burning raider. She motioned with a nod and Fang began to unstrap the weapon and through it to her.
"Ok Cala," He said "is it all right if I call you that?"
"Sure," She replied as she looked at the weapon settings. She was still being bombarded with some bullets but the raiders seemed to be running away. She made her advance with Fang'' weapon. She released the Flame and swivelled on the spot as she did so. She then walked forward the flame going with her. The previously launched flame dissipated in the air even though the first raider shot with it was still on fire and perfectly alive. She continued to get her revenge with the flame as her device. It shot forward and began to burn raiders. The air stunk of fried blood and ashes. Jedziea looked away as she couldn't bare even the heat of the flame she shot herself. She decided that she wanted her revenge. That nothing would stop her. She looked increasingly scary. She burnt all the raiders quickly and turned around and walked back. An evil smirk came over her face, The group looked at her. She had never looked so scary. It seemed to cast fear even into Fang the brotherhood agent. She no longer looked like that playful beautiful little e girl that used to travel around near Klamath shooting scorpions in a playful way. She meant business, She turned and then sat down.
"Let's set up camp here," She said the anger seeming to slip from her, it was replaced by a look of extreme sadness. Fang walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Are you ok?" he whispered into her ear.
She looked back up at him, she began to slowly cry. She looked down at herself, Fang kissed her on the head and laid her down o the floor acting as if they were old loyal friends.
"I'll protect you," he whispered as he removed a tent from her pack.

He unrolled the tent and individually set it up "Who normally sleeps with Cala?" fang asked them
They all looked across at him strangely.
"I mean in her tent," He replied.
They all looked normal again. "I did for a while," Said Goris, "But I normally sleep in with Vic but he wasn't here when last arrangements were made."

Goris climbed into a tent he had rapidly put up, Vic followed him. Then Marcus climbed into a tent on his own and that left Lenny and Cassidy to the last tent. Marcus left no room for any one else as he was only using human sized tents.
"I guess I'll have to come in with you," he said to Jedziea
"What did you used to sleep on before then?" She asked
"Ohh, the floors ok for me, when I was in the vault I had a comfy bed though." He said. He smiled which was a rare thing among the first few days when he met the group. She seemed to change him over time as she had changed the rest of them. Her playfulness and her joy, She acted like a little girl. Always running dancing singing and trying on what clothes there were left in good condition in the wasteland. Even Marcus and Goris seemed to have developed at least some sort of limited sense of humour.

Jedziea laid back and sighed, she would be going through an emotional week now after being raped. This is no way to treat our new guardian though. She remembered when she had first meet most of the group, how friendly she and her limited amount of comp

of companions at the time had treated their new recruits. She thought that they probably would of left if she had treated them how she was acting and feeling now. However this seemed to draw Fang closer. He acted like a good friend to Jedziea, the group couldn't say why though. It was obvious why he treated Goris in a good friendly manner because they WERE old friends. But they honestly could not say.

Marcus was lying on his own as always looking up at the tent roof. He was thinking, he was considering how safe his mistress may be in the same tent as that power-armoured monster. He could kill her with one shot of that flame weapon and then be gone before any of them could get there to save her. But still if there was an attack she couldn't defend herself in this state but he could defend her better than anyone else in the group. Probably better than anyone for many miles around them.

Jedziea slept quite well despite the fact she thought she would have nightmares. She tried not to remember what happened in the vault before Fang came to save them. Nothing could clear it from her mind. Still she thought about how helpful Fang had been even though he was only new to the group. She wondered whether he was too good to be true, he had saved them from raiders and then he was still being nice to her. What had she done for him? She told herself he must be a hater of raiders which explained why he saved them and he was just being nice to his travelling companions when they were in need. She almost forgot WHY she was sad but not that she ACTUALLY was sad. She didn't get to sleep for about an hour, she remained awake looking at her companion. She could almost swear he was looking at her but this was hard to tell as Fang's head was concealed by his helmet which she was surprised he was wearing while asleep when he didn't earlier.

She then continued to think about the stranger. Did he have some hidden motive and Why did he keep looking at her.

The next morning she woke after a good night sleep. She looked at her pip boy, it was fairly early. She looked over to where Fang had been lying the night before, he was gone! She couldn't see him anywhere. Her sadness seemed to have disappeared. She was as happy and joyful as she always used to be. She decided that she needed to talk to Fang, she needed to ask what he wanted and why he was really here. But secretly she knew why he was here and what his motives were but she didn't want to admit it to herself. She suspected Fang was outside so she got up ad moved out of the tent. She looked round as she went out, she could swear that she heard a laugh from her tent. She knew she was imagining things so she resumed looking for Fang. She looked round but he was no where to be seen. She saw though that Goris was up. She went over to him. He was sitting away from the camp on a log looking out into nothingness. There was nothing, no caves no cliffs, just nothing. She heard him sigh, she knew he could sense that she was there. He did know that she was there and was coming towards him. She sat on the log next to him her face rested on her hands. She sighed as she looked into nothingness with her friend Goris.
"Have you seen him?" She asked not needing to say his name
"No," Replied Goris "I sensed he was gone when I woke up."
"Why does that make you sad?" She asked, "because you were old friends."
"No," Goris answered "It is because he knew where the deathclaw tribe is."
"Did you sense him leaving?" She asked
"No," Goris answered in a sad tone "I did not, he must have left early."
"The where is he and why did he say he wanted to join us only to leave the very next day?"
Jedziea asked in a puzzled way

That was the question. Why had he left and where was he?

PT4
Jedziea returned to her tent. She could swear she heard something and saw the tent move slightly. Only slightly but she knew that there was something in there. She decided to risk it. She drew her small plasma pistol and burst in.

A helmetless and laughing Fang confronted her as she entered. A smile came over her face as she realised what had happened. Fang stood up and walked over to her. He patted her on the back and then exited the tent. He walked over to where Goris was still sitting. He joined him.
"Hey Goris," He said.
Goris looked round emotionlessly "So you're still with us?" He asked.
"Indeed I am." Fang replied.
"The where did you go?"
"I was there all the time," Said Fang "in the tent. I used my stealth."
"Most amazing," Goris replied to Fang's explanation
"What?" This made Fang ask
"You have displayed no sign of "playfulness" while we were in the vault, before the others knew you."
"I have my secrets Goris." Fang told him.
"You were acting more "Human" I was not sure that you enjoyed or would even participate in such human things as "Playing" or "Joking". In fact I could swear that I had not once seen a smile on your face until you met Jedziea and the others."
"You'd probably be right," Fang answered.
"I do not really understand this human things and I thought you didn't either. Although if you did you must have kept very secret about it. Or is there something else?" Goris questioned "About Cala perhaps."

"I don't think I want to answer your question," Fang told him. "So you up for a visit to that deathclaw tribe?"
"Good," He said, "I would like to finally see if they are alive."
"Let's move then!" Fang said walking over to Jedziea "You wanna come with me and Goris to the deathclaw cave?" He asked her
A look came over her face that instantly informed them that she was in. She disappeared into her tent closely followed by Fang. The two of them began to pack their equipment, Fang was soon finished, as he preferred to keep his stuff on himself. Jedziea kept her stuff out in boxes and containers. Fang then began to help his new friend efficiently put her stuff away.

"So do you find this stuff hard to carry or are you just really strong?" Fang asked her
"Well my guys help a bit but they have their own stuff to carry. How about you."
"I usually keep it in the Phoenix, when it's with me, other times I load it into the old Grey Skull Highwaymen we have. Some times I call it a highwaymen but they seem to be getting quite popular recently, I mean this one is different." Fang explained
"How so?" Jedziea asked
"Well to start with Grey Skull is metallic silver with a white skull painted on front,"
"AND…?"
"Well it has an ion stream cannon mounted on top,"
"Go on…"
"Well it has some extra suspension and anti-grav plates. It eats up solar fuel, has an unlimited carry weight can fly over the sea and has loads of room for passengers and luggage."

A look suddenly came over Fang's face as the two of them finished the packing and exited the tent
"So who's gonna head to San Fran for your guys?" Fang asked
"How long do you think this cave will divert us for," she asked Fang in her professional voice
"Well a week or more," Fang said.
"Well we need send no one then,"

The two soon finished packing the tent into Jedziea's pack. The two of them handed all their use less but still valuable junk to the rest of the party to carry. The two of them sorted out their own personal inventories for the journey ahead after seemingly deciding to pass the stuff they packed up ready into carrying packs to the others in the group. Fang looked over his own weapons, He was considerably rich in this sort of equipment. He had his trusty Ion Cannon, his favourite use Turbo Plasma Rifle, Also there was his solar pistol and his Angel Flamer.

He thought over his weapons. He remembered the strange ancient museum replica of the brotherhood where the Blaster was. He also remembered his squad the "Angels of Fire". This was the reasoning for the name Phoenix given to his vertibird. Also this was the reason he carried the Angel Flamer. His weapons were quite amazing especially the ion cannon. He remembered seeing a satellite plan that was no doubt still in space with one of these cannons that had blown entire cities apart on a concentrate wide spread but still linear blast of blue energy. This was his favourite weapon for those "tough" Situation when nothing else was available although it eats up a lot of "Ion particles" Which are the ammo. The Ions are small atoms that are pressed into an enclosed space in the weapon. The ions continuously pumped while also super charged by the maker of the ammo making this an incredibly destructive device. When they mix together they create a white part in the stream giving it the concentration. Even a single particle could kill a person with ease.

Jedziea had nothing much to do with her limited weapons. She strapped her vindicator around her back, her gauss rifle in hand and a solar pistol in a holster. She was soon watching Fang with his concentration on his weapons. Fang suddenly decided to pick them all off of the wasteland floor on that now brightening wasteland morning. Fang had his cannon on his back with the rifle in hand, Blaster in holster and flamer in pack. The rare silence of the early morning was disturbed when Marcus approached and informs Jedziea that they were totally packed. She just nodded stood and walked in the direction Fang had earlier pointed. Fang turned his bearing presumably heading in the correct direction.

The storm was at its worst point, Cassidy, Vic and Lenny were drawn back by its supreme power. Even Marcus was fazed. Jedziea pressed on eagerly with determined strength. She now looked professional and unlike the girl Fang had first meet when they left the vault together. The two were already good friends. While the others were walking individually but still in a group formation Fang always took post beside his new friend. Her blond her was blown back. He average sized body looked a little larger today but then slightly dwarfed out by Fang standing next to her. She looked great in her power armour, without the helmet. Any other woman in possession of a helmet would probably have had it on at that particular time. But not playful little Jedziea, her blond hair was in usual position slightly moved by the storm but still there how it always was. Fang beside her also had his helmet off, it was rare to see him with it on at this point. His handsome face was revealed for the entire world to see. He liked many things among the wasteland, he liked romantically watching the sunset despite the argument that Brotherhood men have no time for this sort of thing. He also likes the harsh storms of the wasteland with the treacherous rain and powerful winds. This was the time that Fang was at his best. He loved this rain and even more importantly he had Jedziea to share this with, his new friend. The two of them were quite strange. It was quite coincidental that the two were so alike but in so many different ways. This may sound very odd but just trust me and you will soon find out. The storm lasted for some time. The group hoped the storm would subside before they set up camp but secretly Fang and Jedziea wanted the storm to stay. Eventually they decided they might as well stop there and sleep.

They set up their tents in what seemed to Fang like a standard formation, as it was exactly the same as last time he was there. They all hoped that the tents would hold the water. Fang decided he would let Jedziea into a little secret to annoy the group. They both knew that the old tents acquired from the Den and Klamath would definitely leak. That was when Fang revealed the plot of his little plan. He drew from his pack the equipment that was in his rucksack. They all knew that there must have been something more then his flamer in there because it looked so big. Fang revealed a few stims and some jet surprisingly. This was followed by several tent packages screwed up neatly and tightly. He pulled one out and set it onto the ground, Jedziea looked at the label it read "undercover tent" Fang set it up quickly and the two climbed inside. Jedziea shook her head, all the water going onto the floor of the tent. She lay down and smiled up at Fang. Fang smiled back down to her. He moved over to the back of the tent and hugged Jedziea. The two looked at each other in a friendly fashion. They could hear the constant dripping that the rain caused on the tent above. It sounded violent but only ran off onto the ground. Fang and Jedziea lay together looking into each other's eyes. Jedziea's eyes shone as Fang looked into them, fang's also had a similar glow. The two smiled at each other faintly laughing

"We won't be getting wet then?" Jedziea said.
"No not at all," Fang answered.
"This is actually quite romantic isn't it?" Jedziea asked Fang
"Indeed," Fang answered.
"We must be strange people to think this romantic I suppose," Jedziea stated. "I suppose you love the rain just as much as me?" She questioned
"Yes we must be weird." Fang said. He looked overhead and listened to the constant dripping.
"This is great," Whispered Jedziea. "This is what I love most about the wasteland, there hasn't been a good storm in ages," Jedziea said

"Say we don't have another thing in common do we?" Jedziea asked
"So you're up for a midnight stroll too then," Fang guessed correctly.

Jedziea got up first walking over to a crate Marcus dumped in their tent. She took out her old favourite armour.
"Shall I put mine on too?" Fang asked her
"Of course,"
"I haven't had an excuse to wear this for ages," fang said as he took his leather jacket out. It was just the old jacket that many used to wear in times gone by. Miraculously the same thought came to both their heads at once. They were thinking of the Vault Dweller first entering shady sands all those years ago. With his leather jacket and vault suit, With his tiny vault pistol and his few stim packs.

Soon the two were dressed in their old armours and were ready to leave their tent for a stroll. The two emerged from the tent hand in hand. They seemed not to have a care in the world as they strolled along silently.
"AHHHHHH," Jedziea sighed siting down on a spot by a cliff. Fang joined her.
"You ready to head back?" He asked her.
"I'm tired," She replied "let's sleep here."

Fang silently sat down on the cold earth next to her. They were completely unaware of the situation they could be in. The two weren't fully armed, Fang had his Blaster and Jedziea had hers as well. Fortunately both were stocked up a bit on ammo. Fang was beginning to wonder whether this midnight trip was such a good idea after all. He thought they should probably head back but he hadn't slept out in the open with a good friend before. It was a sort of tradition. Fang always found friends like Jedziea, they all had something in common. They used to all enjoy sleeping on the earth with no extra warmth. Maybe a blanket or two beneath them, or maybe a rug. They weren't exactly "sleeping together" in the loving sort of way just sleeping in close proximity.

The two of them slept peacefully for a while, they weren't cold despite the storm still raging over their heads. The rain faded slightly but still beat down on them. They woke in early morning the sun shining.
"I guess we're morning people," Jedziea said as she got up. Fang sat up from beside her.
"I guess so," Fang replied as he rose to his feet. The rain had stopped but it was still cold. The floor was wet with dew and the two were re-energised.

"Fancy another stroll?" Jedziea asked Fang.
Fang need not answer it was clear that he would automatically come with her, The two rose and strolled on hand in hand. Nothing much had happened recently to either of them so it was nice to act casually for a little while.

While the two were walking in the direction of the circle of tents a group watched from the nearby bushes. One emerged and aimed a weapon at Jedziea. He fired and his her knocking her to the ground. Another two made a run at her and pulled her away. Fang was almost unarmed and had very limited options. He drew his solar pistol and looked up as storm clouds began to return. He could not likely use that weapon for a while, and unluckily it was the only one he had on him. He prepared to charge towards the raiders. He decided he would risk it, he charged only to be met by several shots aimed at him. He still continued forward even without his power armour he seemed undamaged by the bullets.

He struck at the gun of the lead raider and the gun flew from his hand and onto the ground. Next he targeted another Raider. He was still under fire but a lot of the bullets were missing him. He attacked and knocked their weapons down. He grabbed a sword that one was holding and pulled it out of his hand with inhuman strength. His hand was cut violently by the sharp blade he pulled. As the weapon reached him he turned it and held the handle that was soon drenched in the blood from his hand. He cast the weapon into the gut of the nearest raider and then the next. The fight was soon over with Fang extremely hurt and the raiders dead or dying on the floor.

"Thanks," Jedziea whispered as she began to head back to camp.
"Sure anytime Cala," he whispered while bending down to retrieve the weapons the raiders had on their corpses.

"Are you okay?" Jedziea asked Fang "You probably should have taken a more sensible course of action rather than taking al those bullets."
"Anything for you," Fang whispered comically.
Jedziea replied "Your acting surprisingly like a boyfriend you know," She paused for a moment "Anyway we've only know each other for a little while yet you still risked yourself to save my life."

"It's what I do" Fang replied as they approached the camp.
