f2rp: Use the Binoculars, Luke!! HA! (maybe spoilers)

First time out of the vault
I spoke to the shaman, but had no clue what to do after that, so I looked at the hints... "use the binoculars" it said... so I looked all over the grounds (Thank You shift key!!), no binoculars. Talked to everyone, nobody would sell me a pair... I couldn't find the D#*@ binoculars ANYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... then I started thinking... I've played FO2 several times over the years, have I *ever* seen binoculars Anywhere?!?!?!

So I was looking around the web for "fallout 2 binoculars", and finally realized what the author was talking about... duh... Boy, am I silly... I'll just sit on this rock for awhile. :oops:

HA! I've played this game a half-dozen times since I first read the manual, years ago... obviously though, as you note, I need to do it again! Or, alternately, I can just stand around with a red face!!
