F3 Collector's Edition/Commemorative edition

First time out of the vault
I wonder if bethesda is planning on a commemorative edition. Of course us fans will jump on it like a dog on a three legged brahmin. In any case, I realize so much effort is being spent in production, but i do hope to see some kind of special edition. Here's a few idea's i've had the past year.

1. Corrugated metal box (Reminiscent of the first game box in design, this wouldn't even have to be a special edition to have the same kind of style the first game did in it's packaging... i always thought it was great! IT was actually the reason i bought it.)

2. "Vaultboy Cologne" (in a miniature vault 13 "water flask")

3. A Nuka cola bottle cap

4. The fabled G.E.C.K. (good luck on that one...)

I realize that such promotional items have rather high manufacturing costs, and atm there is a lot of fear the game may not even do well. But cool ideas, no? :-D

No. Not cool. Not even if Pete Hines himself delivered it and allowed me to kick him in the groin repeatedly would I buy this. Bethsoft's horrible misrepresentation of what the Fallout series is, which dovetails into justifications along the lines of:

"it's what the developers of Fallout 1/2 would've done if they'd had the technology," and "get with the times, people, turn-based is a relic of old computer gaming and has to get put aside forever," and "all you want is a carbon copy of Fallout 1/2."

When CLEARLY these are false and misleading statements, and simply justify the wholesale re-invention of Fallout 3 as "Oblivion with guns." No matter what gee-gaws and doo-dads end up in whatever super-ultra-mega-secret limited edition Bethsheda ends up releasing, it won't be worth it. The Vault Dweller is dead, and Bethsoft has killed him.

a buttplug in the shape and colors of the silly handheld mini-nuke and a small Bethesda logo imprint
the ideal gift for the "fans"
