Fallout 1 ending

I just finished Fallout 1 for about the thousandth time and I got an ending sequence where I finish talking to the overseer and as he is walking away from me, I whip out a pistol and blow him in half. I have played this game so many bloody times and this is the first time I have ever seen this, he usually just walks to the door and its game over. Has anyone else had this happen? And are there any others I have missed?
 
You had the bloody mess trait, right? With that trait, you automatically shoot him. Or, if you don't have it, you can just tap enter quick, and BLAM/ZAP/FZOOIE he gets it. I love his death animation (he only has one, right? Where he gets cut in half, with his guns all over the place, and tries to crawl back to the vault door)?
 
I did have the vloody mess trait on, I got that scene where he gets cut in half, I don't know of any others.
