fallout 1, extract master.dat??? Help!!!

I have extracted the master.dat and critter.dat with f1undat.exe.

The .cgf are all o.k.

I cant play f1 with extracted files but i have to. Can anybody help me....

You dont need to extract everything dummy!

Are you just wanting to do this to hack the game or is there some other reason?

If you wanted to hack the game... allz you have to do is extract the relavent files.

F1UNDAT can extract files with certain extensions. You want to hack .pro files - simply extract all files with end name part of "pro"

(f1undat -es master.dat pro ...I think, dont include the period in .pro though)

If you're new to editing I suggest you check one of my other messages (enormous) which is like .pro editing 101 for newbies. Also - FIME will work on Fallout1 .pro files too.
