Fallout 1 intro movie?

Hi there.

I'm looking for the Fallout 1 intro movie, is it available for download anywhere?

A search for "intro movie" here on the forums provided no useful clues and neither did google.

Do you own Fallout 1

if you do, with the right programs you can take the intro out of the game, but i'm not sure if the programs are available anymore.

Figured that would probably be the easiest way since it's obviously not available anywhere.

Everything you need is on No Mutants Allowed. Head over to the "Files" section, and everything is under "Fallout Modding."

You will need a DAT extractor for Fallout 1 (there are several different programs you can use to do this). When you extract the movie, you will find it in MVE format. You can download MVE Player to watch the movie or Mve2Avi to convert it to an AVI file. Both of these programs will be under "Graphic Utils" (so it will be NMA Downloads -> Fallout Modding -> Graphic Utils).
 
Ok I am likely a wee bit dense ... ok maybe a lot ... but I cannot find the DAT extractor itself ... is this no longer available anywhere?
 
Welcome Fionavar and Freddo, that`s my favorite starting movie.

Look around the files section, you`ll find tons of nice utilities.
