Well. I know it's fairly easy to modify things with FO2.
However I want to play Fallout 1, with some modifications.
I guess you could call it a more "arcade-like" fallout experience. Since you see, when I play fallout, I avoid pretty much any and all drugs and substances that might have a hint of negative side effects at all costs. It's my whole "drugs 'r bayd, mkay!?" attitude I suppose.
Personally I just think the negative side effects associated with addiction are boring and hamper progression of the game.
So I want to change that. I want to eliminate all potential for addiction and mostly eliminate any stat reducing properties of any and all drugs, drinks, etc, and apply more arcade-like properties to them. Just to see how the game plays out that way.
This way I might just end up using them instead of selling them off all the time.
Anyhow, if you guys could point in me in the right direction to some tutorials (I'm assuming, worst case scenario, I'll have to do some hex editing), I'd be appreciative.
