Fallout 1 OS X Trouble

I'm running Fallout on my MacBook (Intel, Mac OS X 10.5.4), and I've got a problem where the color is messed up, and the screen is compressed to only about 1/8th of the screen. Needless to say I can't play it. Does anybody know how to fix this?

BTW, the exact same thing happens with Fallout 2.
