Fallout 1 Slow Menus/Travelling

Hey guys, I did some searching and couldn't find a match. (Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough) but I'm having some problems with Fallout and it's menus. I'm using the White Label Fallout Collection for the record.

Anyway, I run the game normally (no compatibility modes, on XP) with TeamX's patch and I've found that the save menu has some slow down and travelling is even slower. Is it supposed to do this? Anyway to fix it?

I had something similar but with Fallout 2 the navigation between the menus was extremly slow I was able to solve it with reinstalling the game
