Fallout 1 - weird colors

Infektionsgefahr

First time out of the vault
Hey guys.

I installed Fallout 1 today and there are some weird colors when I start the game. If I make a screenshot the colors (on the screenshot) are gone, everything looks fine. I nearly tried everything:

I installed the patch.
I installed the high resolution patch.
I started the game with 256 colors.
I tried to fix the problem with pressing F1 or with tabbing out and in
I renamed ddraw.dll
I tried this (http://www.laboskopia.com/php/outils/fallout.php)

Well, nothing worked. I had the same problem with Fallout 2 and i fixed it with a patch (I guess it was the high resolution patch) where I could change the colors form 32 bit to 16 bit. I heard there is a similar patch for Fallout 1 (or a program, I dont know) called "sfall" where you are able to change the colors too, but I can't find it.

So:

Does someone know where I can download sfall or how I can fix my graphical problem?

I apologize for my shitty english and I realy hope someone can help me out with this. :)

E: Oh yeah, Im using Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit Version

Always makes me grin when I see that. :P

Suffice to say, you don't need to download sfall because you already have it. Downloading the readme would be useful though, since interplay stripped it out of version of sfall they've been bundling.

So can I do something to start Fallout with 16 Bit manual?

E:

Oh man, Im so fu**ing stupid. :)

I extracted the high resolution patch to my Fallout 1 directory and I thought that's it. But I didn't realized that there is a patcher.exe which I have to start. Anyway, I installed the patch, changed the colors to 16 bit and it works.
