Fallout 1 with no patches

Hey, i have been playing fallout 1 for a few hours now, i alredy found the chip and everything, but so far i have only encountered a bug where one op my companions doesnt follow me, and i only happened like 5 times. what gives? dont i need patches?

Some versions of Fallout already come patched. You can check the version of your Fallout.exe, unpatched is 1.0. You likely won't have 1.0 unless you installed from a very early disc.
