Fallout 2 .acm files

First time out of the vault
I installed the restoration kit on my mac copy of fallout 2 and it works brilliantly. However I do not have any music at all in-game for maps. I thought this was the fallout2.cfg problem but in my sounds/ music folder there are only two files; abbey.acm and prmtribe.acm.
I tried downloading the mp3 versions, but they caused my game to crash if I put them into the music folder, even when I changed the extension to .acm.

I was wondering if anyone could upload the original map music files in .acm format for me?

If you do a humongous install of the game (not sure if the Mac installer had this) then the music should be included. The two .acm files you see are from the RP. The rest should be in the same folder, or if the vanilla installer was dumb, it put them in sound/music inside the main F2 directory (not inside DATA where the RP puts them)

Also sharing stories how you got the RP to work on the Mac version is always good. The RP wiki probably has the info, but knowing more details is always good.

Lastly, moving to the modding forum, since you are not running original material.

thanks for the reply Killap. love your mod and patches. I really don't want to do a humongous install since it took so much tweaking and Luck:10 to get it to even work at all.

Is there a place where the .acm files are available?
