Fallout 2 ... again :)

First time out of the vault
:D I just started a new game of Fallout 2, having never finished the game before (I got to the oil rig the first time I played it but found it way too hard back then). So the first thing I wanted to do was get the car as this makes the game so much easier and better fun to play. On the way to getting the car quest completed I got side tracked and after 6 hours managed to get the beast up and running. Just want to say What A Great RPG!! I'd forgotten how much there is to do and the game still makes me laugh in so many places. Right now I'm doing the Broken Hills quests as I've never had Marcus in my team before either. Next ... New Reno and the visit to the Godfathers.

I was having big trouble clearing out the Kahns in Vault 15. Either me or Sulik would get cut to pieces every time I walked through the entrance. So I called it off and made a trip to San Fransisco and did the Nevarro base quest for the vertibird plans. Seems that now I've got powerarmour, and Cassidy and Sulik have combat armour and brotherhood armour respectively, it's just way too easy to clear out vault 15.
Maybe I should head off to finish the game now I'm built enough..... nah! :)
 
Well, yeah, but... see... IS there a point to this thread other than your telling us what a great game Fallout is? We already know that :)

No not really. Sorry in the future I'll make sure I have some groundbreaking idea or insight before I post. Wouldn't want to bore you all or ruin your day posting bollocks.

The fact that you feel the need to say something doesn't mean you need to actually see it. Actual content is expected, not just 'gee, I want to post this' stuff.
 
Jesus, chill winston. Maybe someone would have something to say other than a moderator getting on his/her high horse. Something along the lines of - I agree, but.... or I disagree, but.....
It's only a game, it's only a forum.
 
Yeah, we all agree, or most of us anyway.

But it sure is pointless mate. I mean we all know this, but you know why we don't start posts like this one? It is because we know others share the same feeling for FO...

Or something like that

And did you forget the purpose of a forum, to have communication? Kind of hard to have communication when there's little to discuss about the topic. In fact, that people note how empty of a conversation this thread is, over any other content, makes it kind of obvious.

Sorry if we have standards. Actually, no, I'm not sorry.
