Fallout 2 Crash Bug Klamath

Hi there... i bought a few days ago fallout 2 on steam... i set the grapic to 4 in ddraw.ini which got rid of the color bug... then i got to klamath and always when i want to enter the left area ( sorry new in fallout 2 ) i crashes with the following message

the instruction at 0048d9c4 refenderend memory at 000000016 the memory could not be read from

that happend before and after installing the unofficial patch and the restoration project 2.1.2b ( and high res patch ) ... i have win 7 64 bit .. if i install sfall i got an anoying message in red next to my char that i rewrote some files...and it still crashes same place

anyone can help me ? i searched here too and found some people with the same queston but no solution .. i hope you can help me... fallout 1 is such a great game i really want to play the second one =) ... such much better then f3 or nv

I have exactly the same problem.
I think it's the area where you kill the Rats for the Quest.

i know this post is old, but i have exactly the same problem. Im using Windows 7!

I cant run a compatibility mode. When im trying i get the following message.

I tried every possible option combination ( if i didnt made a mistake ). But it doesnt want to start :( :( :( I even tried win 98.

I really love this game. Played it countless times and wanted to revive the good old time once again. This mod started really great but now this :( Any hint is welcome. For a solution i will send much much love from here :mrgreen:
 
You have the German version, right?
You probably need the blood patch. Google it or ask some of German members, they might know where to get it.

Really thank you, espacially for this fast answer.

Thought it is already full uncut since children were in the game, normally they arent included in the german version.
