Fallout 2 crashing when fast traveling

First time out of the vault
First of all, hi, new here and this is my first post.
I recently downloaded Fallout 2. I installed Killap's patch 1.02 and the game started fine (No rainbow colors or anything).
After finishing the Temple of Trials and getting out of Arroyo I tried to travel but the game crashed with this message: "The instruction at 004550d7 refrenced memory at 00000064 the memory could not be read from
Click on OK to terminate the application."
What can I do? I really want to roam the wastes but this error keeps popping up :(

Does Killap patch require the original patch? Anything 'bout that in readme?
Try applying Restoration, also from Killap, after the patch. Should work then.
 
Never mind I fixed it.
The installation gave me 4 options on how to install and I picked the Restoration, I should have picked Killap's.. Never mind.
