Fallout 2 Extended Edition Install?

Hey all I'm pretty sure this is where I should post this.

I just downloaded Fallout 2, never played it before. Says I can choose completely unpatched v1.0, killap's unofficial v1.02+, killap's restoration project v1.2, or TeamX v1.2 final.

I've done some light reading on each, but I really got no clue which i should choose. Haha really I've never been asked such a question during a game installation so it's got me stumped so much to choose from :p

Oh wow I totally missed that sticky lol. Yeah I was pretty much leaning towards killaps unofficial pach or killaps restoration project. No, I never played FOnline...I played Fallout 3 when it came out, liked it but never really got into it much. Then when New Vegas came out I was completely hooked. Put in a couple hundred hours on it, then went back to Fallout 3 and ended up liking it a lot more than I did at first. Afer being bored wih both of them, I decided to give the originals a try. I hate time limits, so I went straight to Fallout 2.

So the way I'm understanding it, killap's unofficial patch fixes a whole crapload of bugs, and he restoration project does that, as well as adding a bunch of content that was left out, correct? I went ahead and installed the restoration project option, because from what I've read it stays true to the developer's visions, no? Lol thanks for the replies. I haven gotten past the first temple or whatever yet but I think I'm going to enjoy this game very much.
