I'm doing what is probably my 15th run through or so of Fallout 2 and I decided for the first time ever (as far as I can remember) to wipe out the Shi in San Francisco and format the emperor computer for the Hubologists.
The problem is that I'm not sure how to get fuel to the tanker now. I did the mission straight off before I could even divert fuel to the tanker from the Shi Palace and now that I have formatted the computer I can no longer use the emperor computer or any other computers in the Palace to send the fuel.
I recalled that you could get it from the Hubologists somehow, but I have hacked into their main computer and there is no option under 'Commands' to send fuel to the tanker. I also tried several of the other computers in the Hubologists' base, but even when using science skill none of them do anything at all.
I do have the quest in my Pipboy (I talked to the captain about getting the tanker moving) and I saved Badger's girlfriend and asked him about getting fuel. He says he will go off and hack a computer to get some for me - but when I say go to the Hubologists he asks what do I want stolen and my only dialogue option is "Nevermind"??? Telling him to go to the Shi just makes him explain he can do nothing there with the main computer now formatted.
I searched the forums a little and checked a few playguides, but they all say to either hack a Hubologist computer or a Shi computer, or get Badger to hack one of them. Is there a special computer I must hack in the Hubolgists' base? Anyone else been in a similar bind? Thanks in advance for any help.
