Fallout 2 - Healing Eye Damage

First time out of the vault
Ok, so I totally ignored the doctor skill this time around in FO2. Never has been so bad and recently I got shot in the eye so my character has 2 perception. I've managed to clear out that wannamingo mine just by using my team and being basically the HP dude who takes all the hits, but i do need my eye back. after the injury, i have -7% (yes, negative) in doctor, so no chance for curing the eye. so far i haven't met a doctor that does it either.

are there any docs that do eye damage in the game or am i basically stuck until i level again (will take a while since i can no longer shoot properly) and invest in doctor skill?

help appreciated

ps i searched the forum so if theres a topic on this, its not my fault :-P

oh, also, lenny's dead, so he's not an option
 
It doesn't seem that any doctor does this, so you'll have to spend the points. Or you could use Falche2.

Yes, yes it is. It's also a singleplayer game, so who cares? Using Falche is a shitload better than walking around with an injured eye for the rest of the game, which basically destroys your combat performance.
 
Just assume you've lost the eye and roleplay ;)

You can actually beat the game without that much shooting.

If he wants he can drop a few hundred caps in the desert to compensate. I have no idea why doctors can't heal eye damage if you can do it on yourself without any hi-tech gear. It's not like we have a "no cheatz talk" policy here.

I just want uglukthegreat to keep playing with one eye missing. It's a cruel world in da wastes. I've never managed to get shot in the eye and get blinded like that. I think you should be proud, uglukthegreat. You won the lottery.

Sure, it is fucked up in the wastes... but why would you want to put roleplaying over fun? I mean if he wants to play the game fighter-ish (probably skilled his character so too) then he could just take a last look at the game that would also allow him to play Fallout 2 with but one eye lest , thank the game for the proposition but go back to play it with healed eyes just for his own fun.

cmon - Roleplaying involves "playing" in it not only for "Art play" means but also for "fun"-means!
 
Wow, after a few run thoughts i've never been crippled by anything.

Just play through with your eye hurt. Pick up some hth or something.
 
The autodoc in Vault city works I believe. You might also try V15.

But we all know that the best way is to just go to the SF Brotherhood bunker and have the computer heal you.

No, it doesn't. That's the entire point of this thread: your eye cannot be healed by in-game doctors. At all.

Stop spamming, and stop giving incorrect/stupid advice.
 
And again: stop giving incorrect/stupid advice. The computer will *NOT* fix eye damage. Fact. See Per's guides, or try it yourself. It won't.
