Fallout 2 - I lost my NPCs and Car in New Reno

I don't know if this is a bug or what because I haven't seen anything like it here or in Per's walkthrough so here goes.

I went upstairs with Angela Bishop, leaving my 2 NPCs downstairs. Problem: I can't find them anywhere; I even went back upstairs with her after leaving town hoping that they would spawn somewhere, but no luck.

Additionally, I have now picked up Myron as an NPC. Problem: My Charisma is too low to have 3 NPCs, so picking up Myron shouldn't even be possible unless my other 2 are gone for good.

Finally, I killed Westin for Bishop (after my NPC loss) and returned to tell him. Problem: Upon returning to Virgin St, I see my car is missing. I've already gotten it from T Ray once, and I checked the chopshop again and it's not there.

My issue with the missing NPCs is a setback (Sulik and Vic had some decent armor and weapons on them) but I can always find more. However, not having a car sucks bad. I'm considering starting my game over because of it.

So...any suggestions? Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Sleep with one of the Bishop ladies again and then go downstairs. Don't save or load while you're on the 3rd floor.

Patch you game. See if the car is in the Den. Potentially restart.

I'm considering starting my game over because of it.

Use more save slots.

The NPC disappearage bug has been discussed several times on the board, including here. It is in my guide as well.

If you went to New Reno to see Bishop, are you sure you didn't park the car on 2nd Street instead?

Hey guess what? I'm an idiot. I hadn't been to that end of 2nd St to realize my car was parked there. Thanks.

Mrs Bishop won't sleep with me though and sleeping with Angela doesn't get my NPCs back. Oh well, at least I can go pick up some new ones in my newly found car.

Because you offended her or because you don't have ST 6 or CH 6? If the latter, drugs could help.

Umm... the bishop NPC disappearing issue is fixed in my patch. (sigh, sometimes I wonder why I even made that patch Oh, I remember, Fallout 2 ROXORZZ!!11!)
