Fallout 2 Installation Trouble

This morning I tried to install Fallout 2 off the CD on my machine with Windows 2000. The autorun menu came up alright, but when I clicked on install to bring up the setup screen, I got a blue screen. I have a Radeon 9200, etc. etc.. but I also noticed there is a manual install for Fallout 1 for Windows 2000. So, I tried to manually install Fallout 2 in the same manner. It starts up and the movies play, but when I get to the menu screen the colors are all messed up.

Has anyone else had similar problems, or better yet, is there a way to install Fallout 2 correctly on Windows 2000?
