Fallout 2 "kill" problem

First time out of the vault
Hi,

I kill one important man and all of his friends. Then I did "nice" misstake that I overwrite good save. Well I replace "locations".sav where it was. Then all was alive, but still atacking on me and saying bad words :-). Well problem is in save.dat.

Exist any way how "repair" it?
 
Sounds like these people's behaviour was determined by some global variable, in which case I would think there's nothing to do about it if you didn't have an earlier save. Or at least I never heard of anyone who could hexedit global vars in a save.
 
I used to think Per knew everything about Fallout.

I was wrong.

What I meant to say was, of course I know how to edit save files to make some people stop shooting at the player, but I think it's important to learn from one's mistakes and deal with the consequences in the game world as they unfold and grow as a human being and a citizen of the world.

Well, you'd be a darn good one anyway.

The novice worked. The novice toiled. The novice drove piton after rusted piton into the rock and hauled himself inch by sweat-stained inch closer to his goal, muscles trembling with fatigue. As he neared the top of the mountain he could sense the nimbus of knowledge emanating from the Master, instilling anticipation and trepidation all at once. Finally he was there. The white-bearded Master hovered above in the fierce wind, seemingly oblivious to the world. Panting in the freezing air, the novice thrust an elbow onto the summit, hove himself up and croaked: "Where... can I download... the kid patch?"
