Fallout 2: Killed AHS-9, pipboy still lists the quest

I also killed everyone else in the hubologist building, except for the scientist pleading for his life (any use for this?)

Ken Lee of the Shi doesn't seem to react to the fact that I killed AHS-9. I do, however, get to the Emperor computer room (don't remember if I did something to enable this before, since I just started playing from an old save of mine).

Just a bug, maybe? Will this be of some significance?
(I did try to complete the quest a couple of times, with the same end result.)
 
Is it a coincidence that this bug was posted at exactly the same time by another user? Check what I wrote there.
