Fallout 2 MegaMod help

Hey All. So been playing the MegaMod 2.44 for a while now, and I must say I really enjoy most of it. Anyway, I am writing today because I'm having a few problems with it.

1) At the BOS Facility on the Cure Lenny quest, when I do it Lenny just disappears. Is this supposed to happen? Is he dead or something? He disappears from my screen and is just gone. I explored both levels and the outside of the facility, and still no Lenny. Anyone know what happened to him and if this is normal?

2) BOS bunker - So I come back here after delivering the data to the scientist as the BOS facility. I speak with the guy at the door, and we get interrupted by sirens...and nothing happens. I wait, run around, and even rest, still nothing happens. I DO NOT have the car with me, as I read on the bugs thread that may cause errors with this quest, but I am still bugged. If I speak with the guy at the front again, he talks to me as if I've never been there and gives me the mission to deliver data to the scientist in BOS facility again. If I don't speak with him again I can actually go down into the complex, but when I come out he says Congratulations and go speak with the General now. At that point it automatically sends me to the middle of the first floor, and if I walk out again it repeats the same thing. Any ideas on how to make the game progress from this point, or am I SOL?

Alternatively, I can speak with the guy at the door, and complete the mission. If I speak with him again and don't accept the quest I can go down into the complex, but when I come up they attack me on the spot, and I get owned.


3) I occasionally get these crashes (like a dozen times and I'm level 19), usually when using items during combat. I didn't write the error codes down, so I'll report on those if I get them again. I can do the same thing the next time around and it is fine. Its really more of a minor inconvenience than anything else except for when it happens near the end of a major battle.

Anyway, thats it. Everything else is good. I picked up cult of personality and have 10 minions. Still haven't got Cafe of Broken Dreams (though Dogmeat will die fairly quickly I bet) and waiting to get my science up to get Skynet. I guess you can get a creature pet too from the BOS I'm waiting to get. Any help would be appreciated.

You should download and install the fixes whipped up together made by MIB88 and other guys. Link is in my signature.

This has been fixed in the upcoming release by MIB88.

It is mostly related to general instability of Megamod. Comes with the turf so to speak. When you combine so many mods together, something is going to complain. But fixes pack I mentioned should clear some stuff out.

Thanks you so much for your quick and accurate response. got the cure Lenny quest fixed, but then I decided I liked him better as a ghoul and reloaded. Funnily he still has the line of text asking if he'd rather e a human

Ya, the little crashes are no big deal. I can't even make the newer FO's stable with the dozen or so mods I use, and those games are meant to be modded.

Is there a website/forum where the post the upcoming releases? They probably aren't compatible with my save game huh? I'd really like to do the brotherhood quests but if I can't I'll just have to cope.
