First time out of the vault
I could really us some help figuring this out. I think I'm installing it correctly but the game throws up errors and crashes. I bought Fallout 2 via Steam if that matters.
Okay, so the Read Me file says to copy over all the files then apply the patch it comes with. I do that and the game crashes when I try to enter the temple, saying that memory can be read. If I copy the files over but dont apply the patch I can make it to the fight with Klint but all the text options say ERROR, but I can still get past him to open the door. When I go through the cutscene starts and then it crashes saying memory can't be written.
I'm not very tech savvy so I've no idea if I made some stupid mistake or not, and most of the google searches on this are just unresolved.
