First time out of the vault
After a winter semester ending in distraction with Fallout 4, I went back to Fallout 2 out of curiosity and got hooked on that instead 
Installed the updated mod on top of an old GOG copy.
Had no trouble up until getting to Gecko where the game started crashing shortly after loud pistols are fired in battle (14mm, .223 pistol, and some rifles).
Kept getting an error stating that
"instruction at 00453c29 referenced memory at bb54cb1e
the memory could not be read from"
google got me to steam and GOG forums where the answer was either checking file integrity, or reinstalling
Either path I pick, How would I reinstall if I can't find fallout 2 in my list of programs?
The main issue is keeping my save files; I'm about to storm Vault 15 and literally just got the robes from the bridge encounter and I want to continue from here. Does moving my save files involve simply copying the SAVEGAME folder from data or is it more involved?
