Fallout 2 Resolution Problems

Malokenic

First time out of the vault
Okay...so its been a few months since I last played Fallout 2 on my computer with the Restoration Patch 2.1.2b installed on it. When I turn it on, the main menu looks normal but when I go to any screen other than it, it gets DRASTICALLY smaller. The Menu screen is the size of my screen but there is literally like 3 inches of blackness outside the frame of the Load Game screen and when I play, the screen is still small. When I make the resolution as large as it can be, the characters and all the images look so crappy and the words are very distorted and hard to read. I tried to reinstall the Restoration Project but it still does not work. Help please! I haven't changed my computer's resolution at all since I got it and its the same as it was when I first got Fallout 2.

Cmon anyone? Please? The game used to play perfect for me and now the resolutions are all weird. Help please.

Which version are you using? If it's the Steam version your files might have been "updated" (messed up). Without more information I can only suggest the obvious: reinstall the game and the RP patch (keep your saved games) and if you are using the Steam version make sure you disable automatic updating.
