Fallout 2/Restoration mod/Crippled limb

Hi everyone. I recently started playing Fallout 2 with the restoration mod. So far my character's left arm is crippled but all the doctors I meet (such as the one in Gecko and Vault City) don't acknowledge that I am crippled. I have full health whenever I talk to them.

Also, my doctor skill is 8% so it's nearly impossible for me to do it myself. Suggestions?

I did a search for 'cripple' in this forum but didn't find the answer fyi.

For fuck's sake, people, you install a mod, you don't post in the forum for *unmodded* games.

I don't know if this has been changed in the RP Mod, but in vanilla fallout 2, most doctors won't heal your crippled limbs if you have full HP, so try to get injured and see if that helps.

Yeah, you have to be hurt either way. I went back to the doctor outside of Vault City and he healed me up completely. So having the restoration mod didn't have anything to do with it.
