fallout 2 restoration not allowing 2x video

i tried using restoration project but there is no screen setting option which is how i play in 2x in 1440p (dont respond i found the solution)

Dude what do you expect exactly?

Scale the resolution 2x a.k.a zoom in and have everything pixelated like 640x480 res on a 17"CRT
( this is done by opening f2_res.ini and setting: SCALE_2X=1 )

or

increase the game's resolution to your desktop res so you can see more of the map, while maintaining correct pixel density i.e. 640x480 on a 15"CRT monitor

( this is done by setting the resoluton in in ddraw.ini to GraphicsWidth= and GraphicHeight= to your desktop settings, and do the same for SCR_WIDTH= and SCR_HEIGHT= in f2_res.ini )

or

instead of using the 2x option for zooming in do it by the change resolution way
( this is done by seting your desktop res in ddraw.ini settings and half of each of those values in f2_res.ini i.e. 1440 in ddraw.ini and 720 in f2_res.ini and corresponding other value setting )

or

you simply saw better cutscene video quality and want to have the same

for this visit my video HD upscale thread in fallout modding, and look in there.. there is an additional way to make my upscales look ingame exactly as in windows players.. but that requires to switch to a different sfall branch version, one unsupported here.. that can make the CGI video really shiny..

ok thanks but i found a fix now i was just being a idiot i forgot to use the high res executable and i used the regular one
