Fallout 2 startup problem

unfortunatly fallout 2 wont start on my computer, a couple of days ago it worked allright. but all of a sudden it wont start, I get an error signal saying: "fallout 2 requiers at least 20 MB of free hard disc space" Even though my hard disc has lots of free space available.

I'm not blessed with computing skills
so please try to help me out.

HOOOW?? I also thought i had solved this problem by changing the compability. Sure,it worked fine yesterday but now i keep getting that error message!! How did you solve it?

You just have to add the line free_space=0 into the file like this

critter_patches=C:\Program Files\Interplay\Fallout\data

free_space=0
