Fallout 2 technical problem.

Quick question. Hopefully with a quick answer.

I am getting the Fallout 2 "Couldn't locate/load text fonts" problem. So I looked for the solution...

To fix this problem change the mapper2.cfg file's [system] section to the following:

[system]
critter_dat=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\critter.dat
critter_patches=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data
master_dat=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\master.dat
master_patches=H:\Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\data

Where H:\ is the letter of your HD, and Games\BlackIsle\Fallout2\ is the path to the editor. You should manually locate your executable/data files and change the path accordingly.

...I don't have a file called fallout2.cfg. Help?

EDIT: Also note I have no idea what I would do with the file if I found it.

You should make the file yourself if it isnt there, you can PM me if you need help doing this, or I can give you a edited copy of mine.

Basically you just make a text file and name it fallout2.cfg. There's just a few lines u need to add in, depending on the installation type you chose.
