Fallout 2, up to date ?

Hello there,

Please forgive me if I 'm not in the right place. I once played and loved Fallout, and wanted to buy myself the third volume. Though before that, I wanted to finish Fallout 2.

And here is my problem. It 's my understanding that there has been many necessary update to the gae which was originally bugged. All my attempt to get the game have such a full version failed, so can anyone give me an accurate guide to install a complete version of Fallout 2.

You have 2 options:

Install the latest Killap's Unofficial Patch if you want the original version of F2 but with more than 1000 bugs fixed.

Or

Install Killap's Restoration Project 1.2 if you want extra content that was cut from the game or that the developers intended to be in it.

However if this is your first time playing I recommend going with the Unofficial Patch only

Thank you. Another point, how am I suppose to change language ? I 'm running the game, and it 's in Italian...

There is no way to change the language if the content on your cd is all Italian. Applying killap's patch to that will be messy. You can purchase the English version pretty cheaply through GOG or Steam, though.

Has there been any official Italian Fallout release? I've never heard of that. Or maybe it's similar to the semi-official early Russian releases?
