Fallout 3 endings...

First time out of the vault
I think the entire game was amazing, but when i got to the endings i was very dissapointed :|

The first ending i got was me dying of just barely 30% radiation poisoning. A nice little montage of my life as the uknown wanderer from vaul 101, dieing heroicly to save humanity, and then ended with the "well war never changes" crap.

Just a little disapointed after that, i thought 'well maybe if i don't die, and send Lyons in maybe i can still continue the game'. Nope.

I was hoping to learn what became of all the people i met and places seen. Really. what the hell happened to the guy i offerd a threesome for the Nuka-cola quantums?

Then again maybe i'm speaking ahead of myself a little. I haven't even played DLC yet.

You don't learn much more- they really should have included that. It was one of the best parts of the first two, finding out what happened based on your actions. However, i can tell you what happens to the guy you send off to find nuka cola quantum for a threesome, if you haven't seen/figured it out already

[spoiler:cb77a73c48] If you go to the Nuka Cola plant, you'll find him dead behind it or just inside in the main entrance, i can't remember which. He also has The (unique) Kneecapper sawn off shotgun, but alas no extra Quantums[/spoiler:cb77a73c48]

They should have done like the previous Fallout games and discuss the fates of the people and settlements you have encountered and dealt with.

There are only two towns in the whole game that would be worth mentioning after it was all said and done though. I mean you can mention all the small little towns that you encounter but it wouldn't be much. Like I really didn't care much for those little towns anyways. Like the vampire quest. I don't see how I significantly changed anything after playing all the angles of it.

It'd be mention of one event (You did good, bad, or nothing). In the originals there was mention of the over all town/city and some individuals that you have encountered. I don't really find anyone in Fallout 3 memorable enough for that kind of ending either. I am even thinking as I type and can't think of a character in there that even really stood out....Fawks maybe but that was just simply because he denied to go into the radiation chamber and that really burned my bacon. (although changed with BS) I am thinking now that the ending of Fallout 3 is there simply because there is nobody of interest or areas of interest that actually matter.
