Fallout 3 "Gasbot" picture

First time out of the vault
After looking at the pic for about 20 minutes I realized that the song selected in winamp is a song by Dizzy Gillespe, Dizzy is just like LOUIS ARMSTRONG, who had a song on fallout 2, this may be a long shot but i think this gives solid proof, along side the fact that the gas pump is a 50s model, that this is indeed Fallout 3. :o

Its probably not called a gasbot because its powered by gas.....
Its probably called that because of its design, using a gas pump as a torso? And I'm almost certain its an enemy.

skeptic

Lets not forget that the development team has often erred when keeping to the story. Such a gasbot, while inconsistent with the story of Fallout, could be consistent with the development teams knack for being inconsistent.

Why did everyone assume Gasbot is from Fallout universe?

Interplay in dire financial straights, needs another SLAM DUNK! Baldur's Gate 3 license == TEH GONE! Creating a new entity != SLAM DUNK! Only option left is Fallout.

It's like Saint said, it took Interplay losing the rights to D&D on the PC for them to make Fallout 3.

Personally, I like Dizzy Gillespe. There's always the possibilty JE was actually listening to it without any connection to any game he is working on.

Even if it did "recharge" cars, people would probably have a better understanding of what it was used for if it was galled "gasbot" instead of "Micro-fusion cell bot"

Yes, there's always the possibility that it's owes its design to pschological inertia on the part of consumers. Also, it could be something that had been shelved, only to be reactivated by someone/some faction poking through a facility somewhere.
