Fallout 3 Gender aka can you play as a chick?

Hey, I’m sorry if I missed the official announcement but can someone clear up the gender issue for me. Will there be an option of playing as a female character in F03? I didn’t see anything related to gender in the FO3 faqs and the screenshots released were all male.

Yes I do enjoy roleplaying as chicks I know throughout the Fallout universe.

Short answer: Yes, you will be able to choose the gender.

Not the age, though.

At birth, your father (played by Liam Neeson) will analyse your DNA and you'll choose stuff like gender and ethnicity

Very PC and next-gen.

So it's just the same choice as in Fallout one and two? Just choosing between male and female? Any rumor on a transgendered character?????

That's too edgy for today's console crowd!

Their lead characters have to be testosterone dripping he-men that aren't gay in any possible way whatsoever because gays are fags!

That or big-titted femme fatales that spend large portions of the game jumping around or laying thier backs or stomachs.

I'd go for a scrawny scruffy male character but i'd leave in the bib boobed female.
