Fallout 3 LIVES!

First time out of the vault
When I heard Interplay was going to dump Fallout 3 I was skeptical, so I came here, to the professionals. It seemed true. I, like many of you, decided to crawl away into my hole and play Fallout 2 until final redemption. I had written to one of my favorite webcomic artist previously about this and not long ago he wrote this on his site http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com

A lot of you have heard the stories about Interplay shutting down Black Isle studios, the developers behind the Fallout series. I myself believed the news.

It seems now like it may not be true though. Interplay has stepped up and announced that the rumors are false, possibly started by former company employees. And as Interplay is a publicly traded stock, it seems likely that they would have announced the closure had it been real.

This means that Fallout 3 may actually still see the light of day. And god I hope it does... the screenshots looked orgasmic.

This is good news! Rejoice! :P Well, as long as its true.

Sorry Mr. Rice. But Black Isle is just a name now, not a studio (much like United Artists after Heaven's Gate). The Black Isle team has been liquidated and Fallout 3 is 'shelved' just like Torn and Baldur's Gate 3.

There is no natural light at the end of this tunnel, just the light from the spin doctor train.

Jesus, it's amazing how damned stupid some people are. I figured that spin job Interplay coughed up to IGN was too ludicrious for anyone to buy it considering all of the PC developers that worked on Fallout 3 were fired. Everyone should know this by now. They're all fired. That means there's no one there really to work on Fallout 3. The reason they were fired is because Interplay didn't think Fallout 3 could be done on time.

Think, people. Think.
