First time out of the vault
Has anyone read too much into the 'prepare for the future' fallout 3 poster?

Do you think the family is just 'there' and doesnt mean anything?

Or do you think its a possibilty the main character will just be a normal family person instead of a somewhat 'chosen one' ?

they all look happy too, they shouldnt if the previous enviroments are anything to judge by. I know its early but i think this family playing football will feature in the opening movie. There has to be a reason for it, i doubt they randomly decided to draw a family for the first poster.

I think you have :). In all the fallout(s) there was idillyic scenes in all the vault-tec presentations. So if anything it means that bethesda are keeping to the original style.

Err...the idyllic poster is a reference to a 50s atmosphere. It's pretty safe to assume that it'd be a pre-war poster.
