First time out of the vault
Hello , i hope i do not annoy you with this.I'm a huge fan of Fallout 3 and New Vegas and I've been on the hunt for secrets , legends , easter eggs , myths.
I have a channel about myths in games and Fallout 3 is one of the games I'm investigating. So far i have 2 videos of Fallout 3.No one else started series like these so I hope that I will find some pretty interesting things.

opinions and comments are extremely appreciated and feel free of sharing any secrets , myths and legends.

Looking for easter eggs is understandable. Secrets too, I guess. Though looking for "myths", "legends" and as such in video games is a bit...peculiar...

Myths and legends are the wrong words. Stop using them. You'll maybe find glitches, secrets, and easter eggs. That's it. At most you might get an 'urban legend about a game, but that's probably bollocks.

If there actually was a ghost in Arlington, it could easily be found in the games code. Most likely, if anything, people saw Crowley or some other NPC running through the area because the game is buggy as a rainforest or because Crowley might be passing through there on his way to Fort Constantine depending on how you completed his quest. Why he stood there and bugged out is probably because, well, it's a buggy game. Trim down the video to cut out extraneous stuff, like blowing up random cars because it's 'awesome' unless it's supposed to be part of making the ghost reveal himself. Give a better description of whatever you're looking for and whether or not it's a well known easter egg (like the dinosaur skeleton, which I'm sure is supposed to be a tyrannosaurus rex skeleton). There's no myth to it; I'm pretty sure searching dinosaur on the vault will have it pop up before long.

Haha, don't let people poo poo on your work buddy. I've seen a couple of these and I think they're pretty interesting. I've always kinda enjoyed those 'urban legend' types of video segments. Cudos on taking the time to come up and make something like this. Great job.

I appreciate the opinions. All of them.

to Wintermind - i see your point there buddy.I'm also very well known with the game codes , that it is possible to explore it and see all the content. However I'm not only trying to find myths and prove them but if I think they are fake I will try and busting them.I see your point about explaining and content in the video I will try improve.
Thanks for the opinion , its much appreciated.

Videos about legends and myths in games are also very interesting to me.
Thank you guys for the attention.

Oh, I see what you were going with "myths". Mythbusters. Got it.

Still, it's not exactly the right word, y'know? At best there might be urban legends about a game, but I'd typically say you'd be more hunting for "Secrets" or Easter Eggs. Stick with Secrets. It works pretty well.

Are you just looking to find secret/easter egg things that people talk about on the forums that may or may not be there (urban legned kinda stuff) or just show off secret areas/hidden away things? Or both? If I know exactly what you're going for I'd be happy to give you advice (and source material to go after, of course.)

well both , rumors about secrets and myths , urban legends , hidden away things.Anything you can think of that is more hidden that usual.

Yes mythbusting but do no mistake it with the whole idea , the whole idea is Myths and Legends mostly.Well which also include secrets and easter eggs if they are (like i said) more hidden than unusual. So the idea and the style is myths , secrets , easter eggs , urban legends , rumors - all of these.

But...what if they aren't in the code?

Your video didn't do anything except give details about the dunwhich building and anything involving the obelisk, and asked a question about whether there was something more to it. Thats not really investigating a myth, as nothing has been proved or disproved.

Your other videos are good, and try to prove whether the legend is real in the game. I just don't like the dunwich one, as theres nothing really to prove.

I see your point , however i do not make a final conclusion about it cause i will do a comeback in the future. Most of the myth videos i make doesn't have a conclusion cause i will be back on the myth.

There is still lot to be done with the Obelisk , i need to find the bloody sketch and investigate more.Thank you for the comment.
