ROFL!!! I am speechless. Remember how you were rolling on the floor while watching "Naked Gun" and "Dumb and Dumber"? Well, that's the kind of feeling I have right now, watching at Interplay completely ignoring almost 4 years of pleading with a sequel to one of the best CRPGs ever, yet giving a green light to the release of a rather weak spinoff called Fallout Tactics, and now this!

The apocalypse is here, people. We were all afraid of this day, hoping it would never come, but there you have it. I predict the longest angry threads on Fallout fan sites they ever had, but it seems it's all useless now.

Oy vey. Looks like I was right. I knew the apocalypse was imminent as soon as Bush was (not) elected. Once again, my theory has been proven. It was a good world while it lasted... no, wait, it sucked ass. Damn.

Why does it say "the upcoming Fallout Tactics?" Did they unrelease FOT while I wasn't looking?
 
The worst thing is that...

...this is a console game, meaning that most of the Fallout fans won't be able to play it. This move is the biggest damage to their PR Interplay (or ANY company, for that matter) could have made.

Fallout arcade? Gimme a break! I can understand if it were a fan project, but this is a professional company!

The creative minds of Interplay are always working on overtime. Recently, we got wind (a good Southern breeze, you might say) of a game that may very well appear on the PS2 landscape in the next year based in the Fallout universe. After two Fallout games, both of which were well received on the PC, and the upcoming Fallout Tactics, Interplay is thinking of bringing an action-based, third-person perspective title out, based in the Fallout Universe"

i love how they say ' the creative minds of interplay ' once again its, "by interplay, for profit" are you sure this isnt old? whats with the upcoming fallout tactics, and saying that there are only 2 fallouts? hmm... and if not third person, are they trying to make it first person? hmm... how lame, sometimes i think interplay is just trying to piss off people like us... they take what we tell them what to do, then they do the complete opposite... maybe its best that there stocks are worth less then half a buck now =] no more ruining the fallout legend

Could have been a misprint or the like, I know I've done a couple when trying to compose stuff.

Instead of "upcoming" they could have meant "recent", and 2 is the number because FOT was *hardly* well recieved.
