fallout comic?

someone told me that there was a fallout comic a few decades back... i'm trying to figure out if this is true.. can someone confirm this or tell me its not true?

i once saw a remark about the comics the fallout is based on (i think it was in the manual) and they said that there were only 2 issues and the 2cd one was used as firewood for cold winter days (probably a joke, but you can never know, can u?), plz remember that all i say here is only from my memory, so keep on looking, and then post here about it
