Fallout 2 mod Fallout F.I.S.S.I.O.N.

@Goat_Boy - I have added this in. I haven't merged it yet, but it seems to be working. Uses the pattern scripts_aaaxxx.lst - scripts are added sequentially.
That is amazing man! You are systematically solving issues the FO2 modding scene faced for years lol
Be it translating mods or fixing engine issues

Well, I think that with a small, concerted effort, Fallout2-CE/FISSION could be made to support modding quite nicely. We have the 'source' code after all, thanks to Alex Batalov - He's the real heavy lifter here!

Of course man, big props to Alex Batalov!

Maybe Sfall will be the final frontier? ;D
Would be awesome to port the Restoration Project to CE :ok:

I'm not planning to add any more support for sfall in FISSION - but, the Fallout2-CE branch I am also helping on has full support as a goal: here

A while ago I have proposed an idea how to solve mod compatibility on certain level in this comment, maybe worth a read:

Basically taking inspiration from Bethesda's esp files and taking advantage of the 32 bit number space for LST indexes to throw in a dynamic mod ID prefix. So the full ID will differ between game installations and saves, but the new system will resolve all this automatically. There will be a concept of modules (or whatever you want to call them) which can contain scripts, art, anything that's referenced by an ID.

Other option is to use some UUID's for new modded assets instead of indexes, but this would mean a new binary formats for maps, saves, etc.

@phobos2077 - All I did so far in FISSION was to tweak the art assets handling to allow for the list extension and for dynamic addition of art assets - mostly to allow FISSION related art assets (interface stuff) to load like vanilla stuff. I also added similar for scripts, though, not so confident on that one. It works...?

I don't really have my head wrapped around all the ins and outs of the engine/mods to move forward in a wholistic way - though I am imagining ultimately something like .esp files in the way assets/mods could be handled. It would be nice.
