A car breaks down on a dusty road. A lone couple trudges on under an ominous sky. But even if they find transportation, will it be enough to keep them safe... from pirates?

Fallout1999 is a 7-minute home production by Xak Boundary and friends that offers some visual treats and walks the fine line between pulp and camp.

Thanks to Xak Boundary

Last scene seem to be unfinished (look very symbolic and nothing happend there really) but i understand that move was made for short movies festival, which limited production time to 24 hours. So i believe with more time and money could be perfect.

Surprisingly good post production, what programs did they used?

The post apoc car in the end is awesome.

Some time ago i used freeware prog "VirtualDub" which is able to make effects like black & white or replace colours and connect many small parts into one movie also put soundtrack in background.

I really liked the music in it. The whole "bandits" thing is kind of generic, but it seemed to me that they attempted to hint at turn based combat. If so that is pretty bitchin' also.

loved it.. need more of the genre and if it come from indie producers the more the better. alot of PA hollywood style lately but its all let me down mediocre remakes and crappy action flicks are a no go
