Fallout in widescreen

I'm about to upgrade to a 22in widescreen monitor. How does Fallout 1 & 2 look in widescreen? Do you have borders at the side of the screen or does the picture distort to fill the screen?

Okay, maybe I didn't phrase that very clearly.

Will I need to do anything special to play Fallout 1 and/or 2 on a widescreen monitor? Does anybody have a widescreen monitor who could share their experiences?

Looks fine on my 22"wide, possibly a bit stretched but nothing really noticeable.

I use it on my 22" widescreen. It does look stretched, but I guess there is little you can to to curb the problem.
