First time out of the vault
Hello fellow new comer to the fallout forums but not the series. I have never modded fallout before BUT I am tring to put it on anothe engine called EDUKE32 here:http://eduke32.com/ it is a duke nukem port engine designed for high quality sprites or models and wondering if anyone will be willing to help with sprite work since eduke32 or duke nukem is a first person shooter I am not asking to help with coding or nothing just help with sprites so they are not isometric. here learn more of what i am doing, http://www.amcwebforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=8207.msg219886#new

I think you will struggle to put together a full game if you are the only one working on it. Especially when it isn't the same view as the originals.

Are you doing this as a FPS or as a quest based game?

Either way, best of luck with your project.

oh no I am injoying it actually and having fun coding it too. i think the only thing i will struggle with is knowing if I want to do this is FPS or isometric.

Isometric!!! :D

I know what you mean though, I had a lot of fun learning how to make fallout mods.

I do stand by what I say though; if you're going to make a large sized mod, you will probably need a hand.

Some of the gun animations look promising. If it has the look and feel of the original fallouts, then it could be interesting.

Isometric +1 vote. There is a first person FO remake going in FO3 already; with an ISO mod, you would have more interest from the hardcore gamers IMO.

The problem you'll have here is that the vast majority of modders are already working on projects of their own and can't commit elsewhere.

Plus, 24 hours between asking for help and then asking again isn't a long time when its the weekend. Give it some time.

Btw, there is already a small fallout mod for Duke3d. Khan's base and vault 13 were the locations in it.

Yes I already knew that but it wasnt very promising and he used the build engine and not the eduke new and improved engine.
I sent him a message but no responce.

Sorry my man. We have a hard enough time finding people willing to mod the actual Fallout games. There is a handful of guys on our team, and we are always short; but have managed to get by with a few dedicated people. I wish you luck.
