First time out of the vault
hey all, this is my first Fallout Fanfic, and just want some thoughts on the plot: Veronica is in love with her friend, the courier Maria Theresa Gonzalez, AKA Talon. CH. 1 is just the into to the plot, Ch.2 is Veronica telling Maria how she feels about her, Ch.3 on will be about Maria realizing her feelings for Veronica.
Fallout New Vegas: Scribes and Hunters
Chapter 1
Maria Theresa Gonzalez, aka Talon, former NCR soldier, sat in her room thinking about the time she Realized she was gay:
*Flashback*
“What are you saying, Babe” Mathew, Maria’s “Boyfriend” said.
“I am telling you I am a lesbian, so I am breaking up with you” Maria yelled at him.
“Fine, don’t come crying to me when your lesbian lover dumps you” He yelled slamming the door.
*End flashback*
Maria Theresa Gonzalez was just leaving to go to the Thorn and meet up with her lover, red Lucy, when Veronica saw her and said:
“So, you are going to the Thorn?”
“Yes, is that a problem?” Maria asked.
“Not really, except that she seems the type to be with anyone that impresses her” Veronica insulted.
“I hear that tone in your voice veronica. It seems to me that you sound jealous…” Maria said
“I am okay with you and Lucy. pleasing each other all over...” Veronica retorted.
“I did not mean jealous of what is going on between me and Lucy.” Maria teased as she left.
Veronica sat in Maria’s room in the Lucky 38 thinking about her first meeting with the courier.
*Flashback*
“So, Veronica, ever been in love?” Maria asked.
“Ever been nosy?” Veronica teased. “I was once. We were young, but I’d like to think it was love”
“What happened?” Maria puzzled
“She left the brotherhood, since our group is not open to outsiders; some believe that obligates all to procreate. You can guess which side her parents were one.” Veronica answered curtly “I tried to convince her to stay, but she was just too stubborn.”
“Oh,” was all Maria Said.
“I still think about her, sometimes” veronica said.
“You know, ‘Ronnie, I am a lesbian as well” Maria told her
Veronica smiled at that.
*End Flashback*
She thought about Maria comforting her after she left the brotherhood.
*Flashback*
“This is entirely my fault. IF I hadn’t left, these people would not be….” Veronica said depressed.
Maria hugged her saying “There, there ‘Ronnie it is not your fault. Those idiots were being themselves.”
Veronica sobbed quietly to herself “Thanks Talon, I love you.”
*End flashback*
She was jealous, not of the relationship, but of Red Lucy herself. She had always hoped that it would be her under Maria, or as she preferred to be called, Talon, taking all the nips, licks and kisses her friend could give. She wanted to be the one to give the courier love, to make her happy, not that-that…whore. Okay, that maybe a bit too much even for a jealous Veronica. So she got up and left looking to tell Maria where feelings for her…
