Fallout Nuka Break: The Series!

Original film was worth the time the video lasted - but nothing above it. Aside from (some) good props, I didn't like it.

Nor was it Fallout, nor was it enough post-apocalyptic for me to deserve to be called as such.

Excuse me while I go grab my power fist. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs a punch in the face.

Like he said in the video, the first one was made almost completely from donated items and resources. An actual buget might make it shine :/

Still, actual budget will not help them in having it a better story, or being truer to the series.

I think the original short film was decent, all things considered. I also believe the creators have only played FO3 and FO:NV, to be honest.

Something like that. It was just another FO3 inspired video, somewhat fun, but still FO3 inspired.
They may have consulted MCA on that one, but still...

You do realize, they were doing it tongue-in-cheek, yes? It was intentionally silly and expecting them to be "truer to the series" and to have "a better story" is ridiculous.

My hats off to them for doing it at all, which is more than any arm chair critic can claim. If you watch the making of video there's probably a couple dozen people involved in the production of just that short film. Look forward to seeing what they do next.

I do realize that, and one of the primary reasons I don't like it is even because it was done as "tongue-in-cheek", it was done poorly. If they want to make it silly, or make a parody, they should at least make it properly in that aspect.

There are many more Fallout-inspired videos to be find on the Internet, both FO-inspired and FO3-inspired, and both in the forms of serious films/series or parodies, and many of those are a lot better done, even though only 2-3 people stand behind their work.
They may not have such great props or effects, but they are certainly better done as far as narrative or humor goes.

Quantity doesn't equal quality. There are many flaws in the film and I'm not even thinking plot-wise.
Also, what Atomkilla said.
