A few weeks back I fell in love with designer Olly Moss's re-imagining of posters for classic movies. Last week I find this guy's giving the same treatment to a select few video games, as well. Albeit styled in the classic Penguin book cover format.
Today I find a link on Offworld to a directly inspired Something Awful thread. Most of the stuff is trashy, but there are a few great ones, and photochop trolling eventually eases off.
I love good design, and though I suck, I'm equally a sucker for trying it out for myself. Failing to find Fallout done justice, I embarked on my own cover. Sadly, after rechecking the thread, I find my exact idea just posted (in case it's unclear, I don't have an SA account, not that that really matters though). So I changed mine. Somewhat.
Anyway, here are the "fruits" of my two hour labor (conceptualizing takes some time). I've got alternative covers in mind, which if I get to doing I might post. Plus of course there's Arcanum.
Not particularly great, but I thought I'd share them either way.
