Jan 6, 2004 #3 M MrMarcus Look, Ma! Two Heads! I've tried the system. it's pretty much a straight conversion, but without miniatures or some representation of who's standing where combat is a pain to do.

Jan 6, 2004 #4 Ozrat Antediluvian as Feck Orderite Yeah, I suppose it would be now that I think of it. Couldn't you implement some sort of D&D combat system though?

Jan 6, 2004 #5 M MrMarcus Look, Ma! Two Heads! Possibly, but it doesn't address the burst-fire cone effect very well IMO. Technically you could say D&D 3rd was inspired by Fallout - the whole Skills and Feats(Perks) deal... but I hate it so I prefer not to.

Jan 6, 2004 #6 welsh Junkmaster There are a number of game systems that have tried to use modern weapon systems. Have you tried either Twilight 2000 or Morrow Project (which is post-apoc). Don't go with the original Top Secret rules- very difficult to utilize. A couple of others I have seen- Star Frontiers and Gamma World.
