Fallout Pre-made characters

Is it possible to add my own profiles among the Pre-made characters. Not sure where I can get images for faces, but I am sure something can be worked out.

I read something like that in Modding somewhere.

if anyone else has this same question and if the original poster still cares; i'm very confident the answer is YES. i never felt unlazy enough to do it myself, but have an idea of how to do such a task of creating or edit porfiles (bios).

This would be good acutally, I havent even looked at where to begin yet though. What files need to be edited?

I believe bios/profiles can be customized in... (looking)... the directory: core\locale\game
file: characters.txt
(i don't know which .bos file has this, but if you can't find it... TOO BAD, look harder )

_/NOTICE\_ - you can:
= ctrl+F for //Pool characters
OR
= scroll down about 3-5 pages (waaayy down there)

that will allow you to edit the default bios I THINK. This is the only place I have discovered how the game 'names' the recruits. So if you did major modding to make your own recruits, try adding the appropriate name used in the entity editor field 'Name' (which sets what filename the game looks for).

You can edit the recruits!? Can you recruit them in the main campaign?

Yes you can. JJ86 made very good tutorials for that purpose. Thats how I got a dog in my team.

i wanted to make a team with a 'Dogmeat' dog to handle the HtH assasinations, but couldn't figure out a respectible build for a dog ...
