Bad news, they figured out that releasing it weekly will keep the hype going, at least with season 1 people stopped talking about it pretty quickly.
And what the hell even happened to New Vegas, apparently Mr. House ending is canon, but where is his space colonization promises, his strip is in ruins. Also that Vault 33 side plot already seems so fucking boring compared to the main dish we're having.

i am wondering if they will pick an ending, or they will just merge it or leave it as mysterious "something happened after X that the player did not know about!" thingy? toth hwarth said they wouldn't contradict any ending!
really surprise me how people can be bothered by this, picking a canon ending is a problem? but pulling new ending or excuse (that every ending is canon) is okay because your roleplaying now is not touched? i hate when my choices don't matter and worse when they make an ending that you can't get, just pick the best one for narrative

anyway the new front is sucks

Still ain't considering this shit canon.

Also, people claiming it will be faithful to New Vegas. Guess these dumbfucks forgot how they fucked the continuity from Fallout 1 in Season 1, to think it's not happening again but with New Vegas is truly some naive shit.

Honestly, I'm okay with this.
I'm watching Season 1 now and it's actually pretty good, it's a fun series which I'm not taking too seriously within the Fallout canon.
Yeah, the Fallout story ended for me with New Vegas, but I'll take a show over whatever Bethesda are doing with the games any day.

I haven't watched season 1 but I have seen critiques of it on YouTube and quite frankly, I am disgusted by the amount of laziness the writers have shown to keep in line with the canon. They literally have all of their homework done for them already including some parts of the Fallout Bible and they still fumble, Cyberpunk Edge runners is a good example of how a video game show should be handled especially regarding its continuity and world space. How tf do they get Novac so fucking wrong when they've literally got the game itself to tell them that Novac didn't have a pool and that the T-Rex was facing the other direction away from the town. But apparently I'm the toxic asshole for pointing this out according to the retards on YouTube and Tiktok, it should be illegal to be this blind and retarded. And wasn't the BOS at the brink of extinction and almost always guaranteed a bad somber ending in New Vegas how the hell have they got all of these Airships and extra people when they were literally doing Viet Cong type shit in the events of New Vegas in order to try and outlast their impending defeat via the NCR, shit makes no sense and I would be struggling not to want to put a hole in my TV from all of the impending STUPID things that they will be doing within the next season of the show.

I don't think in-game locations are supposed to be canon, in reality they're supposed to be bigger, but due to engine limitations they're like that.

Yes to make them a Black Lesbian Woman with Vitiligo and a Wheel chair. The way the Courier was meant to look like.
I 1,000 percent guarantee you that those queers will try and pull some bullshit like that. And Bethesda would let it happen as well because they suck and they don't give half a dick about any of the Fallout related content that they weren't responsible for creating.

more like a sword with two edges, people tend to overlook flaws inside any kind of media if they are watching or playing it in binge-watching, if the show quality drop every episode like the first season then you will see people realizing these flaws
the weekly release also could mean they did not finish later episodes so maybe the quality will drop
the other edge is people overlooking flaws and the weekly hype never die so the show get more love or whatever

I still think it's quite unfair & disrespectful, of the fact that the Fallout TV Show never gave ANY credit or special thanks to anybody from the original dev team, not Tim Cain, Leonard Boyarsky, Jason Anderson, NOBODY!

Also, quotes from mainstream news outlets & the producer of the show, is one of the primary reasons why I never showed support for the show:

I mean my gosh, they practically revised the franchise's history, it's origins!

:-x :-?

Yeah, that last quote drove me crazy when I first saw it. I try not to be hyperbolic and dramatic about stuff like this because it’s just a video game and ultimately doesn’t matter, but it embarrasses me to say that I genuinely feel disgusted and offended by that comment.

In the TV show's defence, Fallout 3 is more or less a new game series copying elements from Fallout 1/2/tactics. And the TV show is clearly based on Bethesda's Fallout, not the first three Fallout entries. This doesn't make Southern California a good place for the show, as it's infringing on the games it doesn't respect.

I think the main issue is not about whether your choice doesn't matter or which ending is canon. It's about that whatever you do, it doesn't matter. Remember what that pop-up said before we proceeded to the Second Battle of Hoover Dam? That "Your choice will set the fate of New Vegas for decades to come." But right now, it seems no matter what you choose, no matter what you do in FNV, it won't change the fact that Bethesda used this TV show to blow the shit up about everything the West Coast lore is all about. Hell, Todd Howard even said that Shady Sands was nuked immediately after 2281. Man, He's so rushed about that, just like he's very scared the entire West Coast is gonna come back to life and jump to his face for revenge, which makes it seem even more hilarious.
