Fallout sound problem

I installed Fallout 1 on my Evil windows XP machine per the post on the site here. I was pretty easy and the game runs. However, after a little bit of playing some of the sound effects stop working and all I can hear is the background sound or music. If I stop and save and exit the game and load again the sound is working for a little bit then messes up again.

Can anyone help fix it problem?

It seems you`re having a new form of the DX problems many are having.

First thing to do is moving the slider on you dxconfig sound accelaration panel to the minimum, before you play the game, if that doesn`t work just take a look on the other threads on this board
